When Crystal Mikellides’ son and business partner left for Europe to travel with a band, she knew their clothing and record store on the Scottsdale-Tempe border was too much to tackle on her own. Rather than leave the business, she streamlined her inventory to clothing only and moved the business a few miles south to Mill Ave.

Hard-to-find European labels, clothing for men and women and one-of-a-kind jewelry hang from racks and fixtures at MadHouse Clothing. Drawing clientele ranging from the college crowd to women in their 50’s, Mikelllides says she makes a conscious effort to offer something for everybody, balancing trendy pieces with versatile low-key items. The inventory price range at Madhouse comes in at an affordable $7-$100 per item.
