Melding furniture with architecture, design duo Mike and Maaike set out to create a comfortable refuge from the hustle and bustle of lobbies, airports and even busy home environments. They started with the idea of designing a “sub-architectural space” with walls and a ceiling to create a personal room with its own unique perspective. The chair is fully upholstered with foam padding over a rigid molded frame.
