Scattering Surface

Join design fans and escape the summer heat at the Phoenix Art Museum, where The Last Scattering Surface is lighting up faces all summer. The 10-foot, metal and glass installation floats just above the floor in the Heather and Michael Greenbaum Lobby. The Last Scattering Surface, constructed using hand-blown glass, chrome-plated aluminum, rigging and electric lighting, is the second piece in artist Josiah McElheny's Big Bang Series.
